Rob the Drummer

While working at Exploria Productions in Hartford, CT, I had the opportunity to work on animatics, 3d character rigging and animation.  The full 4 minute version of this piece was projected on screen during motivational speaker Rob The Drummer’s 2003 stage show. While the animated Evil Rob character is projected, spaces in the character’s dialog allow real-life Rob The Drummer to “talk” to it as a mixed-media stagecraft.

Flash 3D Arcade Interface

Reality Theory 2.3: Here is a 3D flash arcade experiment I made in 2003 to navigate some of my older digital art, photography and animation.  I attempted to recreate some classic analog arcade controls for mouse interaction.

Rescue Heroes: The Movie

Cover Art (not by me) for the DVD.

In 2002 I contributed to the production of Rescue Heroes: The Movie as a modeler/rigger/texturer.  I modeled heads for several of the “extras” as well as customized many of the props.  This work was performed with Faust Logic, Inc. for Nelvana Limited, a division of Corus Entertainment, Inc.

Sankyo Pharma: The Crossroads of how to Lower Your Cholesterol

This is a portion of a longer piece done while working at Exploria Productions. It was part of a Sankyo Pharma’s national WelChol Marketing campaign for physician education, “The Crossroads of how to Lower Your Cholesterol”. The animation portrays a humanoid representation of the drug as it tours within a cartoony human body.

Femmo

Short independent “commercial” for an imaginary product called “Femmo”. Inspired by an entire genre of serene yet cryptic commercials that baffled me in my youth. This was my first attempt at using Maya paint effects and transparency mapping. This piece has always found a place at the end of my demo reel.
